They are deductin, induction, and abduction. Using meta-programming approach in Prolog(i.e., deductive inference engine), we developed induction-based knowledge acquisition support system and abduction-based hypothetical reasoning system. We propose them and the key-concept how to mechanize them, which are called reflection. Potential problems are also presented.
