MEGHIVO A CEU Popper Project es az ELTE TTK Tudomanytortenet es Tudomanyfilozofia Tanszek kovetkezo kozos szeminariumi eloadasa: BARRY LOEWER (Rutgers University) *Quantum Mechanics and Free Will* Abstract: Some physicists and philosophers (e.g. Compton, Heisenberg, Popper) have suggested that quantum mechnaics is compatible with libertarian free will. Recently Robert Nozick and Robert Kane have actually proposed quantum mechanical models of free action. I discuss these models and argue that quantum mechanics is no more hospitable to libertarian free will than classical mechanics. Az eloadas idopontja: junius 10.
