Subject: New Master's Program "Mind and Brain"
To: Dirk Mende <mb-education(a)hu-berlin.de>
Dear colleagues,
As of the winter semester 2013/14 (beginning 1st October 2013) the Berlin
School of Mind and Brain will be offering the English-language
interdisciplinary master's program “Mind and Brain”.
Please make suitable candidates aware of this new program! We would
appreciate your supporting us by forwarding this e-mail to interested
students, coordinators, or colleagues nationally and internationally.
The master’s program is aimed at students with a BA degree in psychology,
philosophy, neuroscience, linguistics, biology, cognitive science or
related subjects.
There is no tuition fee.
The application period is from 1st to 31st May 2013.
The structure of the master’s program allows students to choose between
three areas of specialization: (1) psychology or neuroscience, (2)
philosophy or linguistics, (3) academic management. Depending on the area
of specialization, one of two different degrees may be awarded: the first
area of specialization leads to a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree (Track
Brain), the two other areas of specialization lead to a Master of Arts
(M.A.) degree (Track Mind).
