Dear Dr.
Winkler,
I am looking for a collaborator in Budapest for doing EEG research on
a specific social group of subjects. I was wondering if you might
know if anybody in your department or in Budapest who could be
interested in this type of research.
I am interested specifically to study mediums (people who claim they
hear voices from passed individuals). The project would involve image
presentation and a series of psychometric tests. The group of subject
is local to Budapest which is why I am searching for a collaborator
who has access to an EEG research machine. Regarding EEG analysis, I
am the main instigator of the EEGLAB software for advanced processing
of EEG data - EEGLAB is the most used software worldwide for
processing EEG data, so we would use EEGLAB to analyze data. I am
committed to using the most rigorous scientific approach and
statistical analyses.
There is room for developing conjointly the research protocol further
if the person is interested. Unfortunately, there is little funding
involved although we are planning to obtain a few thousand dollars
from private donors.
If you know someone who might be interested, would you mind to
redirect me towards that person.
Best regards,
A. Delorme
