Subject: PhD fellowship
Dear all,
I am pleased to announce that a PhD position is now available at the Modelling Human
Happiness Project (ModHap):
https://www.jobbnorge.no/en/available-jobs/job/231630/phd-fellowship-availa…
ModHap is a recent project by a group of philosophers and psychologists at UiO and UiT.
The project runs from 2022 to 2027 and is founded by the Research Council of Norway and
the University of Oslo. The group integrates insights from ancient philosophy, philosophy
of science and psychology to develop new empirically testable notions of happiness. Our
main objective is to develop new scientific models of happiness.
The PhD-candidate will work with us to generate knowledge about the nature and development
of human happiness, in particular the role of values and activities in a good life. The
team of supervisors for the PhD candidate is led by Professor Joar Vittersø.
Eudaimonically yours,
Joar
