January - Popper room (main building #102) David Wiggins is Emeritus Wykeham Professor of Logic at Oxford University. Fellow of the British Academy and Foreign Honorary Member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. His publications include Sameness and Substance (1986), Needs, Values and Truth (a new edition of which was published in 1998), Sameness and Substance Renewed (2001) as well as numerous articles. Professor Wiggins' work is very well known and influential, and ranges across many of the central areas of philosophy, including ethics and metaphysics.
