If you attend the 1998 Forum of European Neuroscience, you are
eligible for a discount of 40% on the price of a subscription to the
European Journal of Neuroscience. One of the most influential
multidisciplinary journals in the neurosciences, EJN reflects the
full richness of the subject, publishing papers from molecular
neurobiology to cognitive neuroscience and from invertebrates to

STIPENDS
______________________________________________
In order to allow as many students and young scientists as possible
to attend the 1998 Forum of European Neuroscience, a large number
of travel grants has been made available by several institutions.
1. IBRO, the International Brain Research Organisation, will support
scientists, preferably from Eastern European countries.
2. The ENA Council has also made available a number of grants
for young scientists from Eastern Europe. These above mentioned
grants include 4 nights of accommodation and registration.
Written applications for IBRO or ENA Council Grants should be sent
to the ENA Conference and accompanied with:
[ ] A copy of the abstract submitted to the 1998 Forum
of European Neuroscience
[ ] A copy of your registration form for the 1998 Forum
of European Neuroscience
[ ] A list of publications
[ ] A copy of the page in your passport showing date of
birth
[ ] A curriculum vitae
[ ] A letter of recommendation, if possible from and

4. Societe des Neurosciences
This Society is proposing 50 fellowships of Euro 500 each for travel
bursaries for student members of the society finishing their PhD.
Restricted to one student per laboratory and a letter of recommendation
is required from the director of the laboratory, indicating why this student
should be granted.
Deadline application submission: 15 January 1998.
