Matlab Programmer
Centre of Brain and Cognitive Development

Fixed term appointment
We are looking for an experienced programmer to provide support for
the development of experimental control software protocol and signal
processing for the Centre of Brain and Cognitive Development.
Primarily the successful candidate will develop interface between the
Psychtoolbox MATLAB environment and the EEG-recording software
(NetStation), the video titler control (Horita) and the eye-movement
tracking system (Tobii), and the optical imaging system under the
supervision of Gergely Csibra. In addition the appointee will help
researchers and students at the Centre to create experimental control
programs as well as providing support for other programming needs in
data analysis related to EEG and optical imaging signal processing.
The software is to be developed promarily in MATLAB environment under
Macintosh OS X operating system. Programming skills in C/C++ and
experience in real-time programming are essential. Familiarity with
UNIX operating systems is desirable.
Salary will be £25,630 rising to £32,450 per annum
