Soar Summer School
University of Michigan

This summer, we will be holding an intensive summer school aimed at teaching
how to do cognitive modeling in Soar. The summer school is most appropriate
for cognitive scientists, including graduate students, faculty, and
researchers who are interested in learning about cognitive modeling in Soar.
There will be six full days of hands-on exercises and lectures. The main
topics covered will include:
the basic operation of Soar
different uses of chunking for learning in Soar
quantitative and qualitative cognitive modeling
details of existing Soar cognitive models
help with defining models for student-specific problems
There will be a registration fee to cover the cost of meals and materials
(tutorials, manuals, and associated readings).

20 attendees.
