Successful studies require attention and care to obtain reliable data and properly process and analyze. We offer two workshops for participants of different level of experience and knowledge in the field. We will discuss, in the respective level, common paradigms, best practices for high quality studies and factors involved in decreasing eye tracking data quality and common approaches to minimize them. *08:45 – 10:15 Workshop for New users* In our first session we invite those who have not used eye tracking before, or have beginner-type experience. We will present common paradigms used in infant research, possible experimental design issues related to eye-tracking experiments and best practices when working with infants and young children. Participants will have the chance to try out Tobii Pro’s remote and wearable eye trackers and the different eye tracking software. *10:30 – 12:00 Workshop for Advanced users* We invite researchers who have experience with eye tracking and wish to learn more on some more detailed topics into data quality, validation, fixation filters, gaze contingent paradigms and other. We invite participants to contribute to the workshop in advance with topics and questions, so that the workshop delivers the most useful information.
