Szeretettel meghívunk minden kedves érdeklődőt *Prof. Dr. Shihui Han* (Cultural and Social Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory, Peking University, Kína) *2013. november 25-én*, *10 órakor* tartandó előadására (helyszín: ELTE PPK, Kari Tanácsterem, Budapest, Kazinczy utca 23-27.), melynek címe: *In-group favoritism in brain activity to others' suffering: what, why and how?* Prof. Han will present their recent brain imaging studies that (1) uncovered racial in-group bias in empathic neural responses, (2) examined cognitive/biological/genetic mechanisms underlying racial in-group bias in empathy, and (3) explored approaches to reduce the racial in-group bias in empathic neural responses. He is going to discuss the implications of these findings. *Prof. Shihui Han* a Peking University, Department of Psychology professzora, vezető kutatója a PKU-IDG/McGovern Institute for Brain Research-nek, valamint igazgatója a Culture and Social Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory-nak. 2003 és 2007 között ő vezette a Peking University Pszichológia Tanszékét. Alapító főszerkesztője a "Culture and Brain" folyóiratnak (Springer), társszerkesztője a "Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience" és az "Acta Psychologica Sinica" folyóiratoknak.
