General Conference Information
The conference organizers are happy to acknowledge several national
sources of support (OTKA, AMFK, rector and dean of JPU, local
companies) that have been instrumental in partially covering
orga tion costs, including administration, catering, excursion and
partial support for accomodation expenses. Unfortunately, we have no
funds to cover participants` travel expenses to Hungar
Pariticipation fee: 150 $ US
covering accommodation in double rooms for 3 nights, breakfast,
reception, excursion with dinner, information package, refreshments/
coffee. For still somewhat challanged banking habits in this
country, you are kindly requested to pay your participation fee in
cash on the spot.
Publication Prospects
Publication of presented conference papers is under negotiation with
an international philosophical periodical.

back?
There are InterCity trains (IC supplement required) from Budapest to
Pe'cs and from Pe'cs to Budapest at approx. 3 hour intervals as

Since accommodations are booked for participants commencing Wednesday
evening April29, for those who plan to spend more time in Budapest,
we recommend that they come to the Pe'cs conference from Budapest by
either of the trains 7:20 (Bp. D,li), 9:55 (Bp. Keleti) and 10:55
(Bp. De'li).
Information on Conference Venue and Accommodation
The venue of the conference is located in the central building of the
Pe'cs Academy Centre of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (local
denomination: Akade'mia Sze'kha'z) on the foothills of the
Mecsek Mountains at walking distance over the centre of town.

every 5 minutes (bus number 33, ask for Akade'mia Sze'kha'z,
pre-purchased tickets of HUF 75 are required) or take a taxi (cc. HUF

bui ing, in the Academy Guesthouse (same phone and fax numbers as
above).
