UNIVERSITY OF SASKATCHEWAN - Psycholinguistics. Applications are
invited for a tenure-track Assistant Professor appointment
effective July 1, 1995. The ideal applicant will have a
cognitive or neuroscience background and specialize in language
processes research. We are looking for a candidate with broad,
interdisciplinary interests, especially in, but not restricted
to, the areas of language development, cognitive neuropsychology
of language, language comprehension or production, syntactic
theory, word recognition, linguistic semantics, computational
modelling, or individual/cultural differences in language
processes. The successful applicant will complement a very
active core cognitive science group, and accordingly, will be
expected to teach both graduate and undergraduate courses related
to language processes and to maintain an active experimental
research program. In accordance with immigration requirements,
this advertisement is directed in the first instance to Canadian
citizens and permanent residents. Other qualified applicants are
also invited to apply. The University of Saskatchewan is
