Sleep, consolidation, and semantic memory
Sleep is important for the construction of semantic knowledge frameworks through consolidation of episodic memories, extraction of statistical
regularities, and integration of incoming information with pre-existing schemas. This talk will discuss evidence supporting these ideas, as well as the processes during sleep are thought to lead to such abstraction.
We are looking forward to see you at the talk!
