for students to apply to the EDCBS-II
March 2003 - October 2004
The "European Diploma in Cognitive and Brain Sciences" (EDCBS) is a European initiative whose purpose is to bring together excellent PhD students and researchers from all over Europe. The goal of this enterprise is to promote, foster and develop European research within the areas of cognitive and brain sciences. Therefore, a postgraduate program for young scientists is developed. It consists of 8 modules (4 method modules and 4 'content' modules) and will be held for the second time in 2003 and 2004 at the Hanse- Wissenschaftskolleg, Delmenhorst, Germany and at the Universidad De La Laguna, Tenerife, Spain.
The organizing committee consists of Harold Bekkering (University Nijmegen, chief organizer), Manuel Carreiras (Universidad De La Laguna, Tenerife), Leonardo Chelazzi (Univesity of Verona), Irene Daum (Ruhr-Univesitåt, Bochum, chief-organizer), Ralf M÷ller (Max-Plack-Institute for Psychology, Munich) and Jan Theeuwes (Free University, Amsterdam).
